My Hunt for the Next 10x Winner

Every investor has that moment where they decide to stop just throwing money into an index fund and actually try to beat the market. For me, that happened last year in 2025.

I’d been inspired by Peter Lynch, the legendary manager who coined the term "ten-bagger" (a stock that gives you 10x your money). Lynch’s whole thing was finding tiny, overlooked companies before Wall Street noticed them. But while he found his monsters in boring places like donut shops and motel chains, I’m looking somewhere a bit more... chaotic.

I’m hunting for winners in frontier tech, space, and next-gen nuclear power. To be totally honest, I’m not following the Lynch playbook to the letter.

My portfolio is split. Part of it is in small-mid cap companies that have real revenue and a clear path to making money. The other part is in pure risk plays. These are binary bets. If they win, they could be 100-baggers that fund my retirement. If they lose, they probably go to zero.

For me, that volatility is just the price of admission. You can't catch a giant if you only fish in safe shallow water, right?

I decided to start this blog mainly to hold myself accountable and journal my humble journey. Hopefully one day I get to look back to see how far I have come. Without further ado, let’s go!
