Small-Cap Chaos or Multibagger Goldmine? What’s Shaking My Portfolio
The small-cap growth space has been an absolute rollercoaster lately, and my portfolio of high conviction compounders is right in the eye of the storm. From optical interposer innovator POET Technologies ($POET) putting up massive top line numbers alongside aggressive funding moves, to space infrastructure player Redwire ($RDW) building a massive backlog despite earnings friction, the theme across the board is clear: rapid fundamental expansion meets intense market volatility. Meanwhile, energy storage pioneer Fluence ($FLNC) and satellite imagery leader Planet Labs ($PL) continue to show that the real world demand for next gen AI, space tech, and clean energy infrastructure isn't slowing down, even if Wall Street's short-term attention span creates wild price swings.
Navigating these hyper growth plays requires tuning out the daily noise and focusing on the long term execution of my core thesis. The key isn't dodging the turbulence, it's verifying that the underlying demand, technology moats, and operational catalysts remain intact while the weak hands get shaken out.
In my opinion, this intense volatility is a classic feature of early stage compounders, and holding firm is absolutely key.
